Privacy
This page covers SUB60 at sub60.run. There are no accounts. You never give us a name or an email, and nothing here identifies you as a person.
How it knows it’s you
The first time you play, SUB60 gives your browser a random anonymous ID in a cookie. That cookie is what connects you to your personal best, your streak and your results. It is only used for that, and it lasts about 13 months.
Because there is no account, the cookie is the only link. If you clear your cookies, switch browser or switch device, you start again as a new player and your best time and streak stay behind.
What we store
- Your anonymous ID, and your timezone (so “today” starts at your midnight).
- Each run: which day it was, your time for every station, whether the carry was right, the timing of your taps, and the tier and badges you earned.
- Your streak and personal best.
- Whether a run looked implausibly fast, so cheated results can be left out.
- Anonymous page-view counts (which pages, roughly where from, what kind of device). They use no cookies and can’t be tied back to you.
Your Colour Assist choice is saved on your own device, in your browser, and isn’t sent to us.
Sharing a result
When you share a run, the link shows your time, your stations and your tiers to anyone who opens it. It shows no name, because we don’t have one. Only share a link you are happy for others to see.
Deleting your data
Clearing this site’s cookies disconnects you from your results. Since the ID isn’t tied to anything about you, we can’t look up a person’s runs afterwards.
